For selecting the texts we looked at many different Noir and neo noir film openings including Sunset Boulevard, Usual suspects and The Killing.
When we watched these films we realised just how important titles sequences our in films. We learned approximately how far credits should be placed in front of each other. We experimented with different fonts we downloaded off the site DaFont.com
Eventually we decide on the font Atlantic Cruise as we felt it best fit the tone of our film and also went well the background shots it was imposed over.
